Your next step begins with understanding where you are now.
Your Next Step Up grew from a curiosity about how people think, learn, work and develop.
Why Your Next Step Up exists
Why does one person thrive in a particular environment while someone else gets completely stuck in it? Why does one person need structure while another needs freedom? Why can someone be exceptionally good at one thing while struggling with things that seem effortless to others? Those questions led to an initial idea: a platform that helps people gain greater insight into how their minds work and explore what suits them.
With attention to giftedness, ADHD, autism and other forms of neurodiversity. That idea also led to the book “How My Mind Works”.

Together, we'll bring some structure to the situation and determine the next logical step.

From self-understanding to direction
Understanding yourself is not the end goal. It helps you ask better questions.
- What suits me?
- What kind of environment helps me thrive?
- How do I learn best?
- What kind of work fits the way I function?
- Where do my strengths lie?
- What takes a disproportionate amount of energy from me?
- How do I want to develop further?
The aim is not to put anyone in a box. Quite the opposite. The aim is to create greater insight so you can make more conscious choices.
From direction to entrepreneurship
My own background later added a second important dimension. I have been an entrepreneur for more than 22 years. During that time, I have helped many aspiring entrepreneurs turn an idea into something concrete and supported established entrepreneurs with choices and challenges within their businesses. That is why Your Next Step Up now also focuses on entrepreneurship. Here too, people often get stuck not because they lack ideas or commitment, but because of:
- too many ideas and too little direction;
- uncertainty about choices;
- a lack of structure;
- difficulty turning plans into action;
- starting many things but finishing too few;
- not knowing which step should come first.
Your Next Step Up helps create movement where things have become stuck.

- starting a business;
- entrepreneurial development;
- practical tools, workshops and guidance.
Not everything needs to happen at once. Your Next Step Up itself is also being built step by step.

What is your next step?
Maybe you want to start a business. Maybe you have already started and are looking for more direction. Or perhaps you first want to better understand what truly suits you.
